Unlocking the Secret Treasure Side Quest
To begin this quest, you must first complete the main story mission titled Sidon of the Zora in Zora's Domain. Once the domain is restored, head to the throne room and speak directly with King Sidon. He will share a passage from an ancient Zora book describing a hidden treasure buried beneath two waterfalls.
This conversation officially adds the quest to your adventure log, encouraging you to search the surrounding structures. The riddle specifically points to the giant fish statue overlooking the entire domain and the long bridge below it. Preparing appropriate gear like the Zora Armor can make traveling through water much smoother during this journey.
Finding the Hidden Cave Entrance
Start your search by traveling to the Great Zora Bridge, which extends outward directly beneath the giant stone fish monument. Walk along the bridge until you reach the area where the water cascades down into the deep reservoir below. Look over the side of the bridge to locate the massive waterfall flowing underneath the structure.
Leap off the bridge and deploy your paraglider to carefully maneuver toward the falling water. Glide straight through the primary waterfall to land on a concealed stone ledge behind the mist. Step forward into the opening to officially discover the location known as the Cave Under Zora's Domain.
Navigating the Cavern and Claiming the Reward
Once inside the cave, proceed down the main pathway while avoiding the deep chasm along the cavern floor. Keep heading forward until you encounter a second internal waterfall flowing deeper inside the cave system. Glide or swim through this second curtain of water to enter a hidden inner chamber filled with ancient ruins.
At the back of this secluded chamber, you will see a small set of stone stairs leading to a treasure chest. Open the chest to retrieve the Vah Ruta Divine Helm, an iconic piece of armor that honors the ancient Divine Beast. Equipping this helm enhances Link's swim speed and deepens his sage connection when fighting alongside Sidon.
